Breakfast was very good and clean rooms.
Reception desk staff very impolite. Couldn't care less for customers.

Perfect location for combined city-beach trip.
Really bad smell from bathroom during some hours of the day. Reception guys said it was owing to the hotel being located close to the sea and switching room was no problem.

Location location location! It was in the centre of everywhere we wanted to be. Very clean rooms, comfy beds. We had a corner room with a small balcony overlooking the square and it was very quiet. Didn't hear neighbours or traffic.
A kettle would have been great!

We thought it was a nice hotel, with a nice staff and good breakfast buffet. And it took only a few minutes to go to the beach or the city center.
It dit not offer free wifi or mini bar in the room.

Cleanliness and friendly staff.
The tiny safe. Also the key to the safe has to be borrowed from reception for a 2 euro fee. For a hotel at 70 euro per night, not value for money. Breakfast not included in this price. No free internet. A dodgy 2 euro per hour system and no wifi in the rooms, although I spotted a broadband link in the wall (?)

The location was very near to the gothic district and only a ten minute walk to the cruise terminal along a wide promenade so it was easy to walk with our cases for the beginning of our cruise. We found the staff to be very helpful, Our room was on the 4th floor and had a large balcony with table chairs and umbrella, which we utilized. Pity we did not book this hotel at end of cruise.

The comfort of the room, the breakfast and the great location.
The internet connection was not particularly good in my opinion. Their computer and printer were not working.

Hotel Del Mar's elegant décor and spacious common areas made it an absolute delight. The staff were attentive, ensuring I had everything I needed. Its prime location near the beach and Gothic Quarter made exploring so effortless for me as a senior traveler.
More seating options in the lobby would be great.
